Extreme Dreams
Ben leads a team of would be explorers on the journey of a lifetime. Expeditions have included trekking up mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, the highest mountain in Africa. A trek to the lost city of Choquiqurao deep in the Peruvian Andes. A two week journey through primary rainforest in Guyana, South America in search of the tallest free falling waterfall on earth, Kaiteur falls, and a journey across the frozen wastelands of Svalbard in the Arctic Circle.
The Sand Marathon
The series followed the trials and tribulations of Ben, as he took part in the Marathon Des Sables, a six day, 150 mile race across the Sahara desert. Competitors must run with all their equipment in what is often described as the toughest footrace on earth. The documentary followed Ben, who had never run a marathon in his life as he attempted the impossible. 2 x 30 mins BBC2.
