What charities do you support?
I am a keen supporter of a number of charities. My father is the founder of Hearing dogs for Deaf People, for whom I am an active supporter.
I am an ambassador for WWF for whom I have travelled to Nepal top report on their rhino translocation work, sadly many of the team that hosted me perished in a helicopter crash in 2006 and my thoughts are with their families.
I am also patron to Tusk, a charity that encompasses conservation for people and animals in Africa. I have worked alongside them at Kenya’s Lewa conservancy for a number of years now, including running the Lewa Safaricom marathon back in 2005.
I am a keen supporter of the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme, the Prince’s Trust, Sport Relief and Children In Need, and Make a Wish foundation all of whom I have been an active fundraiser.
