Ben travelled extensively throughout Britain’s remaining Empire, journeying to some of the most remote islands in the world including St Helena and Tristan Da Cunha in the South Atlantic Ocean, Pitcairn in the Pacific, Ascension, the Falklands, and British Indian Ocean Territories in the middle of the Indian Ocean.
Here is a synopsis and a picture of the covers. You can also order my book from Amazon. Enjoy.
Synopsis
Union Jacks and red post boxes can still be found in some of the most remote, inaccessible places on the planet - the far-flung islands still governed by Britain.
Pursuing a childhood dream, I travelled to meet the inhabitants of these wild places with evocative names like Tristan da Cunha, Ascension, Diego Garcia and Pitcairn. Because of my own unique experience on “Castaway” I was welcomed by these isolated, patriotic communities and along the way was threatened by elephant seals, chased by the Royal Navy and deported for spying.
